Honeymoon Preparations!

Relax - it's not how it sounds!! We are going camping for our honeymoon in 6 weeks and in preparation we wanted to pitch our tent. It was a wee bit frustrating to start with but once we got started it was ok and at least we know now that we can pitch a tent together without killing each other. The marriage can go ahead!!

  1. Seriously: You 2 are going to have so much fun in your tent. If it doesn't rain. Or if it's not windy. Or if you get a good place to camp. If you don't run out of gas. If you like sitting on the ground, in a puddle. Have a great time :)

  2. Hi Karen, thank you for visiting my blog. I tried to reply you via email but unfortunately your email is not enabled in your profile. Anyway, just wanted to tell you the fabric you had your eye on is Alexander Henry Skulls and roses. I bought it in Singapore but you might be able to get it online. Just use the keywords I've given.

Also, I learnt to handsew in primary school, learnt to make clothing using sewing machines at a Dressmaking Institute but I was really bad. As for bags, I picked up the basics by using a few free tutes on the net. Once I could make a few simple pouches, I could pretty much make anything I wanted. I think the skills I learnt from dressmaking helped a lot.

All the best in your bag-making journey!

    1. Thanks for your lovely reply Jane :)

I will have a search online to see if I can find this fabric because it totally rocks!

I will just keep practising away and I may email you sometime if I get stuck with anything if you would not mind? Always good to have the opinion of someone more experienced :)
